About NomadStayHQ

We get it — finding a good hotel as a digital nomad is weirdly hard.

Most booking sites are built for tourists who need a pool and a buffet breakfast for a week. You need something different: fast, reliable WiFi (and proof of it), a quiet spot to take calls, a neighbourhood with cafés and co-working spaces nearby, and a price that doesn’t blow your monthly budget in three nights.

That’s exactly why we built NomadStayHQ.

What we do

We compare hotels across 200+ booking sites — Booking.com, Agoda, Hotels.com, and dozens more — so you always see the best available price in one place. But we go a step further than price.

Every destination on NomadStayHQ gets a Nomad Score: a rating that factors in WiFi reliability, cost of living, community vibe, and how practical the city actually is for remote work. We’re not handing out stars based on whether the lobby looks nice. We’re asking the questions that matter to you.

Who’s behind this?

NomadStayHQ is an independent project built by a remote worker who got fed up wasting time on bad searches and worse hotel WiFi. No corporate backing, no sponsored results — just an honest tool for people living the nomad life or curious about starting.

We’re a small operation, and we like it that way. It means we can stay focused on what actually helps nomads, not what looks good in a pitch deck.

Where we’re headed

Right now we cover a handful of the most popular nomad destinations — Chiang Mai, Bali, Lisbon, Medellín, and Budapest. We’re adding new cities regularly, and each one gets a proper deep-dive before it goes live.

A note on affiliate links

NomadStayHQ earns a small commission when you book through our links, at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the lights on and the site free. It doesn’t influence which hotels we show or how we score destinations — our Nomad Scores are based on research, not payments.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope we help you find a great base.
